This gearbox was originally designed for a commission by John Hill.

The idea being that it would be a strong gearbox with sensibly spaced ratios for competition work.

With its undercut dogs, needle roller bearings and high capacity gear teeth, it exceeds all the commissioned requirements.

The mainshaft is splined rather than tapered in keeping with its high torque capability.

John Hill’s fitting instructions and guidance notes are supplied with each box.

The design minimises any alterations to the original castings and if you are experienced in changing A65/A50 gearboxes, this should present no problems
